Lumedica Vision’s new LumAI software promises to help medical professionals with AI-enabled decision support. Leveraging our best in class OCT hardware, LumAI analyzes retinal imaging data and compares to a database of known eye diseases to guide physicians to regions of suspected pathology. This will increase workflow by allowing automated image classification at the point of care, a necessary feature for screening. Improving workflow will allow more patients to be screened and more cases of vision threatening disease to be detected.
